Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for February 2017. I’m excited to be participating! This month our theme is Sale-a-bration. We want to show you some more ways to make the most of your Sale-a-bration items. I will be focusing on two of the new Sale-a-bration items that you can pick with a $50 order. Remember that three NEW items are available beginning February 21st.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog, Kim Vogel, or you may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full line-up below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Kim Vogel.
I chose to focus on the new Glimmer Paper and the Make a Medallion Stampset. I paired the Make a Medallion stampset with the Glimmer paper to make three cards, one in each of the colors that the Glimmer paper comes in. The three colors are Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay and Sweet Sugarplum.
You can select both of these items by placing a $100 Stampin’ Up order.
Directions (all supplies listed below):
Cardstock colors used: Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White
Cut card base to 5.5 x 8.5
Cut mat to 5.25 x 4
Emboss Mat with Elegant Dots Embossing folder
Cut piece of DSP 1 x 5.25
Cut glimmer paper .5 x 5.25
Using the same color of cardstock as the card base, heat emboss the image from the Make a Medallion stampset using white emboss powder
Stamp the coordinating image in the ink color to match the basse
Stamp ‘FRIEND” in the middle
Cut out with a circle framelit from the stitched framelits collection
Adhere medallion with dimensionals
Cut a 1 x 2.5 piece of Whisper White for the banner/sentiment
Stamp “Thanks for Being You” from the Avant Garden stampset (or a different sentiment of your choice)
Punch out a 3/4 inch circle from the glimmer paper
Add an embellishment from the falling in love embellishment pack
