This past weekend my daughter Natalie and I hosted my quarterly scrapbook retreat.  This time though, it was a bit different!  It was a fundraiser for Natalie’s upcoming trip to dance in Disney.  Many of you know that dancing is her life – it’s what she does!  She doesn’t do any other sports just dance.  This June, her dance team will be traveling to Florida to perform in a once in a life time performance!

The highlight of the weekend was that she made home-made, right from the oven,  banana bread for them following lunch.  They loved it!  After lunch she entertained all the ladies with a couple of her dances.  Wondering how my retreat is structured?  The cost to attend the retreat is $50 and included a goody bag valued at $20, make and takes, lunch, snacks, dinner and hand made gifts that we give everyone throughout the day.  The event takes place from 9 AM – 9 PM, 12 hours of scrapbooking and crafting fun!

Interested in attending my next retreat day?  Join my mailing list and never miss any of my emails and information regarding my other events and classes.  My next one-day retreat will take place in May, date to be determined.

I thought I would showcase for you all the goodies that we prepared for the day. She chose to focus on an emoji theme and the ladies LOVED it.   The scrapbook pages were the make and takes (we still have about 10 kits left if anyone is interested in purchasing a layout for $8).

Their name tag was at their table waiting for them to arrive.

Throughout the day, Natalie handed out little gifts that she made for everyone.

 Bag of Gumballs
 Scissor Charms
Suckers

Valentine’s Day conversation hearts, but these had emoji’s on them!
