Hi everyone and happy 4th of July. I hope you all have had a great weekend with family and friends or just a relaxing one if you chose to take some time to relax and enjoy the nice weather.
The girls and I spent the weekend with my mom and we enjoyed some time with her, it’s always so short though!
Today I am sharing with you a card that I did as a make and take this past weekend. It is simple and sweet and sometimes we need quick, easy and duplicate cards. Keep in mind that you can easily change the sentiment and the stamped image to make this card using other stampsets as well!
This stampset is very near and dear to my heart having been raised on a very small dairy farm. It reminds me of driving tractor with my dad and all the hot days of baling hay, boy I sure do miss him. My dad passed away 9 years ago ad not a day goes by that I don’t think of him!
The stampset that I used is called Heartland. Here is a picture of it:
Since the event that I did was over the 4th weekend, I decided to do this card in both red and blue to give the attendees at my booth an option. Which one is your favorite:

Hi Kim!
I think I like the red background better, but I prefer the darker wood that is on the blue background one.
Nice card. I have the wood paper and I love it.
Hello Kim.
Love the use of the wood paper with this stamp set. There is never enough male cards so I appreciate this tutorial and providing ideas on how to expand this set for birthdays as well. Also liked the idea of using ALL the left over dimensionals. Thank you
Another wonderful card!
