Hi and welcome to our blog hop for September  I am so excited to be part of this amazing Global Blog Hop with so many of my stamping friends.  This month our theme is a fancy fold card. 

I chose to showcase the card that I made for my mom to give my daughter, Claire, for her confirmation this past weekend.  My mom wanted a special card and purple is Claire’s favorite color, so this is what I created.

I used the “His Love” stampset which was perfect for the occasion!

Here are the measurements to create this card yourself:

Highland Heather cardstock 4 1/4 x 11, score at 2 3/3 on each side and an additional layer of highland heather cut 4 3/4 x 3 1/4 

Whisper white mat for the inside cut 5 1/4 x 4

Two pieces of cardstock vellum cut 2 1/2 x 2 – I ran these through the stamp emboss machine using the dainty diamonds embossing folder.

I  used the ornate layers dies and ran one of the dies through my machine using whisper white cardstock.
